   Who can shop at DFP?

ARRIVING PASSENGER

 Any inbound shopper can shop up to $1,000 worth of Duty Free items within 48 hours upon arrival. The said privilege can be availed of on a one-time shopping basis only.

BALIKBAYANS and OVERSEAS FILIPINO WORKERS

Flilipino citizens who have been continuously out of the Philippines for a period of at least one (1) year from the date of last departure, coming or returning former Filipino citizens and their families who had been naturalized in a foreign country and OFWs can shop within 15 days from the date of arrival. However, during the Christmas season, reckoned from November 15 to January 15, the privilege is extended to thirty calendar days from the date of arrival. This privilege can be availed of on a one-time shopping basis only.

SENIOR CITIZENS

In compliance with the "Expanded Senior Citizen Act of 2003" (R.A. No. 9257), Duty Free Philippines offers SENIOR CITIZENS a special discount on limited purchase of basic necessities and prime commodities. Just present the I.D. card and purchase booklet issued by the OSCA along with valid travel documents upon registration. These individuals are given 1 year upon arrival to get the shopping card that will be valid only for 3 consecutive days.

HANDICAPPED INDIVIDUALS

These individuals are given 1 year upon arrival to get the shopping card that will be valid only for 3 consecutive days.

 

DEPARTING PASSENGERS

TRAVELITE Shopping

DFP designed a "shop-now-pick-up later" program for all outbound passengers of any nationality who returns to the Philippines within 30 days. The Travelite program offers 7% discount on selected DFP purchases.

DEPARTURE Shopping

Any outbound passenger can do last-minute shopping with no purchase limits.Applicable only at AIRPORT Stores.

DIPLOMATIC AND TRAVEL INDUSTRY Sales

DFP also caters to the shopping needs of Diplomatic personnel in foreign embassies international offices, institutions, associations and/or organizations accredited by the Department of Foreign Affairs under DFP's International Sales Unit and to Travel Agencies and Tour Guides under it's Travel Industry Sales Unit.
